Client Onboarding Agreement

This Client Onboarding Agreement outlines the process and expectations during the initial setup phase of SEO services provided by MHAFs.

Our goal is to establish a smooth, transparent, and efficient onboarding process — ensuring both teams are aligned for long-term success.

2. Onboarding Objectives

  • Establish a shared understanding of campaign goals and KPIs
  • Secure all necessary access credentials (Google Analytics, Search Console, CMS, etc.)
  • Conduct an in-depth SEO audit and keyword analysis
  • Finalise campaign strategy, deliverables, and timelines

3. Step-by-Step Onboarding Process

Step 1: Kickoff Call
A 60–90 minute call introducing key stakeholders, clarifying business goals, and reviewing the project roadmap.

Step 2: Data & Access Collection
The Client provides website logins, analytics access, and other relevant credentials securely.

Step 3: SEO Audit & Strategy Blueprint
The Agency performs an in-depth technical, on-page, and backlink audit — followed by keyword research and competitor benchmarking.

Step 4: Campaign Setup
Tracking tools (Google Tag Manager, GA4, Ahrefs, etc.) are integrated, and monthly reporting frameworks are configured.

Step 5: Launch & Review
The first round of optimisations is implemented, followed by a strategy alignment meeting.

4. Timelines

The standard onboarding process typically takes 7–14 business days, depending on client responsiveness and data access.

5. Communication & Updates

Clients receive:

  • A dedicated account manager
  • Access to real-time progress via our client dashboard (if available)
  • Weekly or bi-weekly update emails during onboarding

6. Data Confidentiality

All client data, including access credentials and proprietary information, is handled securely and confidentially under our Privacy Policy.

7. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide all requested information and access promptly
  • Review and approve strategic documents in a timely manner
  • Maintain open communication with the account manager

8. Delays & Pauses

Any delay in providing access or feedback may extend onboarding timelines. The Agency reserves the right to pause onboarding until required information is received.

9. Completion & Transition

Once onboarding is complete:

  • The Client receives an onboarding summary report
  • Ongoing SEO activities (monthly deliverables, content creation, link-building, etc.) commence immediately

10. Agreement Acceptance

By signing the main service contract or paying the initial invoice, the Client agrees to this onboarding process and its outlined responsibilities.
